The difference between market squid and fresh squid from fishing boats

There are many types of squid fishing. If the squid were used by trawling, they would be frozen in buckets of ice to be brought ashore to be sold to merchants. Those squids will be sent to the squid peeling center. Therefore, this process takes a long time. Salt is also needed to keep the squid fresh for several days.

The next step after peeling the squid is washing and salting it and then transporting it to different locations. It may take a long time. To maintain the ink for a long time, salt has to be added which affects the white color. When taking them to eat, we have to wash off the saltiness.
